GENERAL QUESTIONS:

Q. Are Strollers & Pets Allowed On Ghost Tours

A. Yes, As Long As Pets Are Trained, and Strollers Can Keep Up With The Group.

 

Q. Are The Tours Guided? Are They Bus Tours or Walking Tours?

A. All Our Tours Are Lantern-Lit Guided Walking Tours. However, There Are Many Rest Stops, and Benches Along The Tour Route, So The Elderly and The Young Will Not Be On Thier Feet All Night.

 

Q. Is Smoking Allowed On Tours?

A. Yes & No. Should You Need To Smoke During Our Tours Please Do So Well Away From The Tour Group. There Are Times On The Tour Where We Will Go Inside Landmarks Where Smoking Is Strictly Prohibited.

 

Q. Where Does The Money I Pay Go?

A. All Funds Raised On Creepy Caledonia Tours Support the Caledonia Agricultural Society and Their Exhibition Hall Renovation Project.

 

Q. Do We Go Inside Any Landmarks?

A. Yes, We Will Tour The Caledonia Train Station and Haldimand House.

 

Q. Are Large Groups Allowed On These Tours? Can I Reserve Tickets? Is There A Group Rate?

A. Large Groups Are Welcome On Our Public Tours. However, If You Have More Than 20 People In Your Party, Please Call Ahead and Let Us Know. Tickets Cannot Be Reserved For Tours. At This Time There Is No Group Rate. Please Call Us For More Information.

 

Q. Are The Tours Rain or Shine? Is There A Rain Date?

A. Yes, We Will Run Tours If It Is Raining If There is A Sufficient Turn-Out. However, If There Is Thunder & Lightening or It Is Raining Hard, The Tour Will Be Cancelled. In This Case There Will Be No Rain Date, This Will Not Effect The Dates of Other Tours. Call Ahead If Weather Is Bad.

 

Q. Can I Pay In Advance? What Methods of Payment Do You Accept?

A. No, You Cannot Pay In Advance At This Time. We Accept Cash Only. Please Bring Exact Change if Possible. Ticket Prices Include All Applicable Taxes.

1 Ticket= TOTAL PRICE $5.00, 2 Tickets= $10.00, 3= $15.00, 5= $25.00 and so on.

 

Q. Do Your Guides Accept Tips?

A. Although the Gesture Is Appreciated, No We Cannot Accept Tips. We Will, However, Accept Donations on Behalf of the Caledonia Agricultural Society.

 

Q. Are There Restrooms Along The Way? Are Refreshments Available?

A. Yes, We have 3 restroom stops: At The Caledonia Fairgrounds At The Beginning and End of the Tour, At The Train Station, about 1/2 way through the Tour, and at Haldimand House: about 3/4 way through the Tour. Refreshments are available For Purchase At The Train Station and the Oasis Drive-In.

 

Q. What Time Should I Be At The Fairgrounds? Where & What Time Does The Tour End?

A. Tours Start Promptly At 7pm. so you should be at the fairgrounds at around 6:45 to purchase your tickets. A guide will be at the Grounds at 6:30 to Process Ticket Purchases. The Tour Ends At the Fairgrounds Too, Usually At About 9:15pm.

 

Q. Where Can I Park?

A. There is free parking available on the Fairgrounds or on Street on the North side of Caithness Street East.
